If you are looking for a software that can save your time making notes during lectures and presentations, Boardtabla is the one you should look at. Boardtabla is an Android application that allows users to follow, preserve and share presentations in an easy and quick way using the built-in camera.

Capture whiteboard, OHP or PowerPoint presentations quickly and easily without having to scribble down notes. BoardTabla will automatically crop unwanted areas from the image and let you annotate the presentations with more content. When you're finished, share it via email, MMS, Facebook etc.

Store a series of images as a session so you can quickly and easily find a specific presentation or lecture. Take pictures of anything and everything then annotate freely: if you are unhappy with auto-cropping then use manual cropping and select the corners of the presentation area.

This software brings a modification of traditional camera functionality: after capturing an image, Boardtabla automatically detects the edges in the image and crops out the content out of a rectangular-shaped region. This feature helps to keep the main content of the slides or white board and wipe out the useless part. After automatic edge detection, if the result is not satisfactory, users can choose to manually fine tune the region that they would like to keep.

To make notes on the captured slides or white board, Boardtabla provides various ways to annotate on the image:
1. Text and graphs can be highlighted with underlining or circling by scribbling on the screen.
2. Text can be added by firstly choosing a location and then typing through the key board.
3. Both the size and the colour of the brush and text are fully customizable.
4. Zooming in and out with multi-touch.
5. Share the image via many social networks such as Facebook, Twitter.
6. Sessions of images can be exported as PDF files.

Boardtabla contains a gallery with a file explorer to manage and access all the previous images that has been captured. The gallery shows thumbnails of images in the current directory and the file explorer is used to switch to different directories. Users can annotate on a certain image by clicking on the file name in the file explorer or simply click on the corresponding thumbnail in the gallery. As images that are not captured by Boardtabla can be accessed with the file explorer, those images can be annotated too.

Boardtabla support various foreign languages: German, French, Chinese, Italian, Spanish.
